Automatic Local Download of Digitized Content

I’m happy to share Memorable’s latest patent-pending invention which downloads digitized content to a user’s hard drive automatically.

The purpose of this invention is to eliminate the need for temporary media (e.g. DVD’s and flash drives) in the digitization process by downloading media directly to a computer or connected external hard drive.

This invention also keeps track of the files that need to be downloaded.

For instance, if a user digitized 20 VHS tapes in March of 2022, Memorable would download 20 high quality MP4 files to the user’s preferred download location.

If the same user digitized 500 photographs in April of 2022, Memorable would automatically download these newest 500 digitized photos without having to download the VHS files.

How It Works

Step 1

User provides photos or videos for digitization. Common formats include photographs, 35mm slides, 35mm negatives, 8mm, super 8, and 16mm film reels, and VHS, Hi-8, and MiniDV video tapes.

Step 2

User enables the “Download Photos/Videos” setting in Memorable.

Step 3 (Optional)

User sets custom download location.

Once digitized, photos and/or videos automatically download to a default or custom location.
